i have been reading random blogs since morning and i find that i have a somewhat worrying inclination to blogs that are either filled with sarcasm or deadpan humour. the kind that will get most people rolling their eyes at the sheer boldness of the decision to publicly post such corny-ness. the same kind that will get me laughing so hard and listing it under my favourites tab. haha.
anyhow, macroscaling thing a bit, pondering about my said inclination towards certain blogs, i was led to think whether it is a generalised scenario of my own daily preferances. do i like people and things that can offer such cheesy-ness? do i choose deadpan over slapstick humour?
mind you, it isn't easy thinking of all the puns and to be sarcastic. it requires a cartain level of intellect. to acquire such a standard of writing takes time to master. i really do admire those who have gotten it down pat.
back to the question: i think i do prefer british humour to the american. thankfully i'm heading in the right direction considering my future plans.

much of today has been a bore. but a refreshing bore it has been.
no work. no driving. no people.
just me.
can u just hear the silence. the beautiful sound of the fan whirring, the water trickling, the tapping of my feet. you never really get to hear and treasure these silent sounds.
